World's top 10 best Tech CEOs of 2013....................................................







Being the CEO of a company doesn't mean he/she is inspiring. But there are people who redefined what their company stood for. If we look into Steve Jobs, what exhilarates us is his skill in transforming the digital world with a few gadgets. On the other side, we have Marissa Mayer who has surprised us with an impressive hike in the price of Yahoo shares. If we do not know who the others are, we would have probably missed the spiciest side of the present tech world.

10 Pete Cashmore
Founder and CEO of Mashable
Being the founder and CEO of an award winning site – the largest platform of the digital world, Cashmore takes pride in welcoming millions of unique users every time. As a challenging inspirer of opinions, Cashmore has influenced his readers to the fullest and has also been named as Ad Age's 2011 influencer and Forbes magazine web celeb 25. Mashable was founded by Pete in 2005 as a blog, which soon became an established news website on social networks and digital trends. As stated, Mashable is named as a 'must read site' by both Fast Company and PC Magazine. Klout, a mobile app and website has ranked Mashable as the most influential media outlet.

CEO, Apple
The present CEO and successor to Steve Jobs is well known for having built up and optimize Apple's supply chain. This could be demonstrated best with the release of the iPad which debuted with a $499 entry price. He is an inspiring decision maker in the company after taking the seat of the world's biggest visionary of all times. Besides producing new versions of Apple products, Cook has also managed several occasions including the recent questions on Apple's tax strategies from the U.S. Senate. Presently what's been cooking up is the much awaited Apple television set top box that would arrive sometime, very soon.

8 Marissa Mayer
CEO, Yahoo
Mayer is currently the President and CEO of Yahoo. Prior to this, she was serving Google as a long time executive and spokesperson. What inspires us the most from her is that within less than a year of her position, Yahoo's stock which was at $ 15 per share has become $20 per share. Moreover, with her multiple acquisitions, she is resurrecting the ailing tech giant from almost ashes. Mayer has been ranked number 14 on the list as America's most powerful business women by Fortune Magazine.


7 Tim Armstong
CEO, AOL
Being the chairman and CEO of AOL, Tim is known to have taken a big move in buying the Huffington Post and making Arianna Huffington, the present in charge of AOL content. Today AOL is known to serve over 200 million consumers a month and is one of the world's biggest consumers brand.


6 Jack Dorsey
Founder and CEO of Twitter
 He created the biggest micro blogging site which is used by millions today and is credited for 1.6 billion search queries per day. Dorsey is also the Founder and CEO of Square which has made a lot of news for raising one of the biggest rounds of funding from the Venture Capital Industry. He was named as the outstanding innovator at the age of 35 by MIT's Technology Review and was also regarded as one of TIME magazine's most influential people of all time.


5 Larry Page
CEO of Google
Larry Page has inspired us with the world's ever famous search engine. As a research project at Standford University, Larry Page and Sergey Brin had created a search engine that listed results according to the popularity of the pages, which then gave the idea that the most popular result would be the most useful. The search engine was named Google, with a mission to organize immense amount of information available on the web. The company was finally launched in 1998. According to the latest record by Forbes, Page was ranked 13 among other 400 richest Americans in the world.

   CEO, IBM
 55 year old Rometty has been serving IBM for about 31 years now. It is known that she has managed the $ 3.5 billion PwC Consulting acquisition putting IBM in the services businesses and also developing a 5 year growth plan, dubbed as 2015 Roadmap along with Chairman Sam Palmisano. With her solid backing as the CEO, IBM has managed to increase profits by an average of 16 percent ever year, over the past decade.


3 Jeff Bezos
Founder and CEO of Amazon
 Jeffrey Peterson Bezos, (known as Jeff) is known to play a key role in bringing up Amazon. com. Learning about the rapid growth of internet use Jeff immediately began working on a business plan to set up Amazon. The company was initially set up in Jeff's garage and gradually set a point to become the largest retailer in the World Wide Web. Amazon saw its rise in 2011 when its shares jumped 55 percent, adding $6.5 billion to its net worth.


2 Jeff Weiner
CEO, Linkedin
 Linkedin had recently celebrated its 10 years of professional social networking. The website has over 225 million members which made the network pool in revenue of $ 325 million in the last quarter. Weiner who sits as the current CEO, once upon a time worked as an Executive –in –Residence for leading Venture Capital firms Accel Partners and Greylock Partners and also served as an executive at Yahoo.


1 Yishan Wong
CEO of Reddit
Yishan Wong is the CEO of Reddit, a social news and entertainment website. He is also the co-founder of coworking space Sunfire Offices and an advisor to Quora. Reddit has become one of the acclaimed platforms carrying the best posts and videos. On a daily basis one can find the best posts on the front page and a lot of communities in the platform foster a great deal of opinions and voices. Even President Obama has answered questions on this site!
