Controversy-hit Chennai Super Kings picked 15 players during the two-day IPL 7 Auction.

After having retained their maximum quota of five, CSK used their right to match card for Faf du Plessis. They had to pay Rs 4.75 crores for the South African, thus becoming the costliest buy for them.
