‘Jism 2’ babe Sunny Leone was raised in a conservative Punjabi
home. But her journey from being the girl-next-door to a porn star has been
quite interesting.
While
talking to a popular entertainment website, Sunny Leone narrated her path from
being Karen Malhotra to what she is now. She recounted how as a sneaky
teenager, she chanced upon a DVD of an adult movie in her Punjabi home in
Canada but as soon as she saw the video, she quickly turned it off and kept it
back for fear of being caught.
Few years later, at the age of 19, Sunny again saw a porn movie with her friends. Here is what she says of the experience: “It was interesting with young people, all inside a house playing games and running around naked. It was cool!”
For some extra pocket money, she worked at a bakery and a tax and retirement firm. When their family moved to the US, she did two years of college before she became the Penthouse Pet of the Year in 2003. After that some modeling assignments poured into her kitty and then suddenly, she got a proposal from an ‘agent’ for doing porn movies.
Sunny agreed to do porn films as the prospect of earning more income lured her. However, she felt that sleeping with random people was a difficult job. She christened herself as Sunny since it sounded fun while ex-editor of Penthouse suggested her to change her second name to Leone.
She did not care for the world for her conscious decision to enter the adult movie sector, but she was concerned for her parents. When she told them of her decision to take up porn films, they were shocked but they did not disown her or stopped communicating with her. But after some time, they did accept her choice.
Sunny also mentioned in the interview that she does not have even a single porn movie DVD at her US home and no one can ever find out what she does for a living.
She asserts that she is not apologetic for her profession and has accepted the way she is!

in three weeks and earned around $100,000 overseas. The sexy siren
has just taken over a new role- that of an item girl. The actress sizzled
in 'Laila teri le legi' from Sanjay Gupta's multi-starrer, Shootout At
Wadala. Sunny Leone will be next seen in Ekta Kapoor's Ragini
MMS, which is said to crossover horror movie. She also played a
major role in movie Jackpot. And, that's not all, the sensation has quite a few
brand endorsements under her belt. Interestingly, she's endorsing a mobile
phone, a condom brand and a drink called XXX at the same time.
